Join TP Tutors as a Tutor – Make a Real Difference Outside the Classroom Are you passionate about English & Maths and making a difference in young lives? TP Tutors is looking for dedicated and compassionate English & Maths Tutors to support students who are currently outside of mainstream school placements. About the Role: As an English & Maths Tutor with TP Tutors, you will work on a 1:1 or small group basis with students who require additional support with their learning. These students may be in alternative provisions, learning from home, or waiting for suitable school placements. Your role will be vital in helping them stay engaged with education, develop confidence, and achieve their potential in English & Maths. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, tailored English & Maths tuition sessions (KS3–KS4 level) Plan engaging and personalised lessons to meet individual learning needs Track progress and provide regular feedback to TP Tutors and guardians Build trust and rapport with learners, often in sensitive or challenging situations Ideal Candidate: Strong knowledge of the English & Maths curriculum (GCSE level desirable) Teaching or tutoring experience (QTS, PGCE, or relevant tutoring experience) Empathetic, patient, and able to motivate disengaged learners Confident working independently and managing your own schedule Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Flexible Hours | Competitive Rates | Rewarding Work This is a flexible role, perfect for educators looking for flexible working arrangements that fit around other commitments.
