SEN Teaching Assistant – Bournemouth Long-Term Opportunity | Mainstream Primary School | Immediate StartOne of our mainstream primary schools in Bournemouth is currently seeking a committed, experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.This role is ideal for a dedicated SEN TA who is looking to make a meaningful impact by providing consistent support to pupils with additional needs within a supportive and well-structured school environment.Key responsibilities: Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN Supporting children with a range of additional needs, both academically and emotionally Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored support strategies Promoting positive behaviour and fostering an inclusive learning environment The ideal candidate: Has previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting Is patient, nurturing and adaptable in their approach Demonstrates a strong understanding of inclusion and safeguarding Is reliable and committed to a long-term role In return, the school offers: A welcoming and supportive staff team A long-term position with consistency and stability Ongoing professional support from a dedicated education consultant Competitive rates of pay If you are available immediately and seeking a long-term SEN TA position in Bournemouth, we would welcome your application.If this role is not suitable, we are also recruiting for other SEN and mainstream support roles across Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
