Are you a .NET Software Engineer looking to take the next step in fintech, working on systems where performance, reliability and clean code genuinely matter? My client is a fintech organisation building and enhancing high-volume, business-critical platforms. They are looking for a .NET Software Engineer with around 3-4 years' commercial experience who enjoys solving real problems, working with modern technologies, and contributing to well-engineered systems used at scale. The Role As a .NET Software Engineer, you will: Design, build and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Work on systems that handle high volumes of data and transactions Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and testers to deliver new features Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and improvements Support production systems and help improve reliability and performance over time What You'll Bring Around 3-4 years' experience as a software engineer working with C#/.NET Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services Working knowledge of SQL databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL) Experience with Git and modern development workflows Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus Any fintech, financial services, or regulated environment experience is beneficial but not essential Nice to Have Experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+ Knowledge of messaging systems, event-driven architecture, or background processing Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing An interest in performance, scalability, and system reliability Why Join?
