Finance Manager - Manufacturing - Portadown £50,000 - £55,000 - Hybrid - 12 Month+ Contract Reed is proud to be partnered with one of NI's most successful manufacturing businesses, in the appointment of a Finance Manager with manufacturing experience to cover a planned period of absence for 12 months (possibly longer).Reporting to the Head of Finance, the finance manager will be responsible for the management and internal control for the relevant business unit and representation at local and monthly management meetings. Accounting - Ensuring that close working relations with the finance team is properly managed to ensure timely month-end closeTimely production and presentation of monthly management accountsInternal controls - Monthly review and sign-off of control checklist to ensure that appropriate financial controls have been performed and reviewedCost Reduction/Profit Improvement/Efficiencies - Support the business team in identifying cost/overhead reduction and profit improvement initiativesWorking Capital Management - Lead the management and appropriate reduction of working capitalCapital Investment Appraisal/Fixed Asset ManagementReporting - Monthly management accounts including accurate profit and loss, overhead reports, working capital, capital expenditure etc.Credit management - Work with credit control team to ensure there is adequate oversight to properly manage credit control risk in the businessSupplier Management - Work with purchase ledger team to ensure that business specific creditor information is reported correctly on a monthly basisA full job spec is available upon requestApplicants can be fully qualified or qualified-by-experience, however; manufacturing experience is essential. Ideally, you will also have experience in US reporting.
