This is a deeply hands-on engineering role focused on shipping reliable systems used by real customers.Key responsibilitiesBuild and deploy LLM-powered features across drafting, prosecution, and litigation workflowsDesign and maintain RAG pipelines over large, complex legal and technical corporaOwn systems from prototype through to productionFocus on robustness, evaluation, and reliability in precision-critical use casesCollaborate closely with full-stack engineers and domain expertsWhat they’re looking forStrong AI research background with top publications or a strong software engineering backgroundExcellent production engineering fundamentals regardless of backgroundNo data-science-heavy profilesComfortable being scrappy and hands-on in a fast-scaling environmentIdeally 2+ years of experience, but open to exceptional graduates or more senior engineersInfrastructure or deployment experience (AWS, Terraform) is a bonusHappy working onsite five days per weekTech stackPython, FastAPIReact, TypeScriptPostgresAWS, TerraformCompensation & detailsup to £185k base + equity (flexible for exceptional profiles)Visa sponsorship availableStandard pensionFive meals per week provided in officeLocation: City of LondonWorking policy: in-person, five days per weekInterested?
