Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS) Location: Rotherham (S65, S66) Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeAre you confident managing a classroom and keeping pupils engaged during teacher absence?GSL Education are hiring Cover Supervisors to join schools throughout Rotherham, including those in the S65 and S66 postcodes, offering a flexible opportunity to support learning continuity and maintain classroom routines.As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee pre-planned lessons, ensure positive behaviour, and create a calm environment where pupils remain focused and productive throughout the school day.Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes using work set by the teaching staff.Maintain a purposeful and well-managed learning environment.Support pupils in staying on task and completing their work.Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and behaviour expectations.Provide brief feedback to teaching staff where required. Requirements of Cover Supervisor: A degree or relevant UK school-based experience.Strong communication and classroom management skills.A calm, flexible, and reliable approach to daily school life.An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A genuine interest in supporting young people’s learning.
