We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in busy, diverse secondary schools across Hackney. These schools serve a wide range of students, including pupils with SEN, EAL, and additional pastoral needs. This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll be supporting students who may need help accessing the curriculum, settling into lessons, or building confidence in a classroom setting. The Role: Supporting students in lessons across KS3 and KS4 Working with pupils who have SEN, EAL, or require additional pastoral support Helping manage behaviour and keep students engaged in learning Working closely with teachers and SEN staff Providing calm, consistent support throughout the school day The Ideal Candidate: Has experience working with young people in schools or similar settings Is patient, adaptable, and comfortable in a busy environment Can build positive relationships with students from a range of backgrounds Communicates well and works effectively as part of a team Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is happy to apply Why Apply: Gain valuable experience in diverse secondary schools Long-term opportunities available Strong support from a dedicated consultant A role that makes a real difference to students' daily school experience
