We are seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our warm and welcoming team. This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting young children’s development and enjoys working as part of a close-knit, professional team.As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged [age range, e.g. 0–5 years]. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of creative, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
Promote children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, contributing to individual learning plans
Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all times
Work closely with parents and carers to support children’s learning and wellbeing
Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures
Support children with personal care routines, including mealtimes and toileting
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education
Essential Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or equivalent)
A caring, patient, and positive approach when working with young children
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
Knowledge of child development and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
