Associate Civil Engineer - Water / Wastewater | Belfast Vickerstock are delighted to be representing a globally recognised engineering consultancy, with a proven track record in delivering major water, environmental and infrastructure programmes across the UK, Ireland and internationally. As they continue to expand their technical presence in Northern Ireland, this organisation is seeking a high calibre, Associate Civil Engineer to play a key role in leading water and wastewater projects while helping to grow and mentor the local civil engineering team in Belfast.Your new role as Associate Civil Engineer In this strategic role, you will lead the delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure schemes, while contributing to the development of a high-performing civil engineering team. You will be responsible for:Directing civil design across clean and wastewater networks, treatment, drainage and hydraulic infrastructureProducing and reviewing technical documentation including reports, calculations, drawings and project specificationsActing as a key client interface, building strong relationships with utilities, contractors and delivery partnersSupporting business growth within the UK and Ireland water sectors, including project resourcing and capability planningMentoring and developing junior engineers and supporting a culture of technical excellenceChampioning low-carbon, innovative and sustainable water solutionsWhat you will need to succeed as Associate Civil Engineer To be considered for this role, you should have:Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)Chartered Engineer status (ICE or equivalent)Significant consultancy experience delivering water or wastewater projectsStrong technical capability in drainage, networks, hydraulics or treatment infrastructureProven ability to manage client relationships and lead multidisciplinary deliveryExperience mentoring junior engineers and supporting team growthWhat's in it for you?
