Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Store Team Leader to join the team at The Science Museum.As a Store Team Leader, you will lead and support the day-to-day operation of our cafés and restaurants, providing a friendly, high-quality catering and hospitality service across the Science Museum. You will lead by example, motivating the team while performing a variety of practical tasks associated with food production and service, ensuring an excellent visitor experience at all times.Job Type: Full Time - 30 HoursHourly Rate: £13.50ph Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver catering and hospitality services across multiple locations on siteLead, support and treat team members with respect, setting a positive exampleBe visible and approachable during service periods, ensuring customer expectations are consistently exceededProvide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customersEnsure prompt service, high standards of presentation and fully stocked service areasOversee goods receipt, stock control and stock rotation of deliveriesMaintain clean, safe and tidy store, kitchen and service areas at all timesSupport team members across kitchen and front-of-house as required to deliver an efficient serviceEnsure strict adherence to food safety, health & safety and environmental standardsAttend required training and rigorously follow cleaning schedulesTo carry out regular checks of the business centre and training academy areas for maintenance, housekeeping and other health and safety issues. Report to the line managerTo ensure in house accounting policies are adhered to and monitor food and beverage control, including performing stock take
