SEND Teaching Assistants Needed - Multiple Roles Available ADHD * ASD * SEMH * PMLD Position: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: [School/Area] Contract: [Full-time/Part-time], Term-Time Only Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Start Date: [Immediate/Upcoming Term] About the Opportunity: We are recruiting multiple SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of specialist needs, including ADHD, Autism (ASD), Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). These positions are ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. Available Roles: ADHD Support Helping pupils with attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity needs Supporting routines, focus strategies, and classroom engagement Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation ASD Support Using structured routines, visual supports, and communication strategies Supporting sensory needs and low-arousal approaches Helping pupils build independence and confidence SEMH Support Supporting pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs Building trust and resilience through consistent, calm support Working with pastoral and behaviour teams to implement strategies PMLD Support Delivering sensory-based learning and therapeutic activities Supporting with mobility, positioning, feeding, and personal care (where required) Working alongside teachers, therapists, and medical professionals What We're Looking For: Experience supporting children with SEND (advantageous but not essential) A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt quickly and use initiative A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs Willingness to undergo safeguarding and relevant training What We Offer: Supportive and welcoming school environments Ongoing professional development and training Opportunities across a range of specialist provisions The chance to make a real and lasting impact on young lives How to Apply: Send your CV and a brief covering statement to: Early applications are encouraged.
