Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance FLTMenzies Distribution Solutions are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Licence to join our team providing a first class service in Kettering. The main purpose of this role is to provide accurate receipt of customer goods in to the warehouse, and timely despatch of customer goods from the warehouse to external parties. The role requirements are to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible upholding and the highest standards of health and safety at all times.***For your application to be considered, you must hold a current Counterbalance Forklift Licence***The Details: Salary: £15.27 Per hour (Overtime is paid at Time & A Half)Shift Pattern: 4 On/4 Off NightsHours: 18:00-06:00Location: Ball KetteringMonthly PayParking Onsite Key Duties and Responsibilities: Loading/unloading trailers using counterbalance FLTUsing internal WMS system, laptop and hand scannersTaking receipt of pallets from the production lines and accurately scanning in to the warehousePicking orders ready for despatchStock rotation and consolidationEnsure all tasks are carried out to the highest of standards, working in partnership direct with the customerAdhering to Warehouse/Plant H&S rules at all timeOperating a ‘clean as you go’ policy to ensure the warehouse is free of excess debris, pests etc.Assisting on the loading bay (as and when required)Adhering to Health and Safety rules at all timesCarrying out any other reasonable request made by Supervisor/Manager Experience and Qualifications Required: Experience operating a counterbalance FLT/PPTAn in-date, accredited FLT license (RTITB, ITSARR, AITT etc.)Previous warehouse experience (ideally within the food and/or beverage industry, but not essential) Technical Competencies: Good eye for detailStrong communication skills, be a team playerBe proactive, use initiativeGood organisational and time management skills Benefits Time For You: Relax with 20 days of holiday.Give Back: Receive a paid day to volunteer for a charity of your choice.Appreciating You & Others: Celebrate special moments with Value Awards!
