Learning Support Assistant – In the Fareham areaStart date – February 2026We are currently seeking confident and committed Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support a range of welcoming and well-regarded primary schools across Fareham and surrounding areas. This flexible role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning, enjoy working in different settings, and value a healthy work–life balance.About you: Have previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar classroom support role.Have experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 (desirable but not essential).Are patient, caring, and adaptable, with a proactive approach to supporting learning.Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.Feel confident supporting children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, including those with SEND.Are reliable, professional, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with their learning under the guidance of the class teacher.Working one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning and support progress.Assisting with classroom management and helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.Following school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour procedures.Adapting to different school environments and pupil needs.
