We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance. Quality Assurance Operative - 3 days on 3 days off - 5:30am - 6:30pm.RequirementsRole Purpose· To provide a service to all departments within Kepak and its customers.· Responsible for ensuring the quality of the product labels and the information held within them are accurate and of standard.· Responsible for ensuring that all products leave the plant within legislative and / or customer specified limits.Role Requirements : Label verification Product Quality Product Checking HACCP Monitoring / Verification Product testing / Sampling Equipment and Scale Calibration Audits Document Completion Benefits· Commitment to Company Values; Passion for food, Ambition, Responsibility and Teamwork· Passion for Food at forefront of day-to-day performance· Ambition to develop self to achieve personal and business goals· Responsibility for positive contribution to business· Team Work across all levels, departments and teams, willing to go the extra mile. Level 2 Food Hygiene is desirable HACCP - awareness of principles - foundation level desirable Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills essential · Strong analytical and problem solving skills· Capable of making sound business suggestions· Ability to work effectively and confidently under pressure· Commitment to good practice and quality products· Communicate well in written and oral form with multi-nationals on all levels· Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines· Relationship builder with influencing skills Strong IT skills (particularly MS Office)
