Job Title: History Teacher Location: Sheffield (S2, S3) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeDo you enjoy bringing the past to life and helping students understand the world through historical events?GSL Education are welcoming a passionate History Teacher to schools in Sheffield, particularly within the S2 and S3 districts, to deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and critical thinking.As a History Teacher, you will deliver structured lessons, encourage analytical thinking, and help students connect historical knowledge to the present.Prime Responsibilities: Plan and deliver well-organised history lessons.Support students in developing analytical and writing skills.Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.Provide constructive feedback on student progress.Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the history curriculum. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.Strong subject knowledge and experience as a History Teacher.Excellent communication and classroom management skills.An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A professional approach to safeguarding and student welfare.
