Printer Operative People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Printer Operative to join our well-established client based in Irlam, Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great benefits and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.We are looking for a motivated candidate that would like to start their career in the Printing Industry with a clear progression path.Shifts: Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 (rotating weekly)Pay rate: £13.21 per hour / overtime after 37.5 hours is £18 per hour. Benefits include: Weekly payOn-site canteen facilityLong-term opportunitiesOn-site parkingTemp to Perm ContractOvertime available Day-to-day duties: As a Printer Operative , your duties will include (but not be limited to): Set up, operate, and run digital printing pressesPrepare and check artwork and materials prior to printingMonitor print quality, colour accuracy, and registrationCompleting paperwork and inputting data accurately into the systemMake adjustments to press settings during production runsCarry out routine maintenance and basic fault findingMeet production targets while maintaining quality standardsFollow health & safety procedures at all timesKeep work areas clean, organised, and safeReporting defective machine parts promptly Essential skills: To be successful as a Printer Operative , you will need: Previous machine operation and machinery skillsExperience in a manufacturing environmentExperience operating digital printing presses is preferredQuality control expertiseProficiency in using hand toolsStrong communication skillsThe ability to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent attention to detail and accuracyWanting to progress within the company.Math skills; GCSE C / Grade 5 and above.PC SkillsBeing able to deal with time frames and high pressure.Manual handling involved up to 25kg.Must be able to get to the site for 0600am.
