Job DescriptionThe United Infrastructure Transmission and Distribution team provides HV OHL design supporting construction, procurement, and consultancy on a variety of projects within the sector. Due to significant growth across our Transmission and Distribution business United Infrastructure has a unique opportunity for CAD designers keen to broaden their expertise and work on critical UK transmission projects.This role will suit someone looking for the opportunity to use their CAD skill to build a career in Electricity Transmission. The role will provide the exposure to civil, structural and electrical 2-D and 3D CAD deliverables utilised to support our construction on a variety of HV overhead line and underground cable projects.If all of this sounds good to you, review the typical responsibilities of the role and the requirements of the position below, then follow the link to apply and start your journey with United Infrastructure.Purpose of the Position:Deliver drawings, design deliverables and documents as directed by the engineers and designers in accordance the engineering procedures and guidance notes.Responsibilities and Duties:Produce CAD models in AutoCAD Civil 3-D to support engineering studies and construction activities.Produce drawings, sketches, and reports to convey the outputs form Engineering to stakeholders internally and externally.Ensure that the quality of all your deliverables before passing to others for review.Ensure, as far as practicable, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and programme.Keep up to date with all technical quality management procedures, developments and specifications related to the discipline work scope.
