VANRATH are recruiting a HGV Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to work with the leading provider of commercial vehicles in NI.Salary:Up to £20 an hour, potential for slightly higher for heavily experienced candidates (overtime also offered)Role:The successful candidate will be required to perform heavy vehicle fleet inspections, diagnostic testing and carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs including the replacement of parts.Ensuring repairs are carried out according to manufacturer's procedures in a safe and responsible mannerCompletion of jobs from general servicing to fault finding, working on electrics and carrying out strips and rebuildsEnsure repairs are carried out in accordance with Standard Times using special tools where appropriateAssist in the fault diagnosis processComply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repairWork with the parts team to ensure correct replacement parts are fitted to vehiclesRoad test vehicles if required (if holder of an HGV licence)Ensure all vehicle defects are reported to Workshop SupervisorEnsure service sheets are completed as per Company instructionsRequirements:Matching NVQ level 3 with time served covering trucks/busses/trailers or similar.This role comes with incredible benefits:Health insurancePensionEAPDiscountsGym membershipCycle to workFree parkingFree work laptopReferral bonusLife insurance Recent Feedback from our candidates: ''The team at VANRATH were extremely helpful in helping me find my new role.
