School Administrative Receptionist - Term Time Temp to Perm Opportunity via Tradewind Recruitment Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and highly organised School Administrative Receptionist to work in a busy school office environment. This is a term-time role (plus two weeks) offering a temp-to-perm pathway for the right candidate. You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, staff, and external agencies, providing a warm, professional reception service while also delivering high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Working hours: 07:30-16:30 or 08:00-17:00 Key responsibilities: Managing a busy reception desk, calls, emails, visitors, and sign-in systems Handling confidential and sensitive information in line with safeguarding and GDPR requirements Providing administrative support to senior leaders, teaching staff, and the wider office team Supporting school communications, correspondence, events, and record keeping Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems Supporting compliance, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures The ideal candidate will: Have previous reception or administrative experience Be professional, calm, and confident in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills Have strong IT skills (Microsoft Office essential; school systems desirable) Show a clear commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality Why apply through Tradewind?
