Your duties as the Stores Person: Goods Receipt: Serve as the crucial link by efficiently receiving parts, managing the goods-in process, and ensuring smooth communication throughout.Quality Control: Carefully check and verify incoming goods, promptly notifying the purchasing team of any discrepancies to ensure accuracy and reliability.Precision Storage: Ensure all parts are accurately placed into our storage facility, maintaining organisation and ease of access for the team.Parts Picking & Kitting: Pick parts with precision, whether as individual items or in kits, and ensure that every part is presented in a manner that reflects the companies’ high standards.Error-Free Barcode Management: Utilise a barcode stock control system with zero tolerance for errors, ensuring flawless inventory tracking.Professional Packaging: Bag, label, and package parts with care, ensuring all items are properly protected, clearly identified, and securely placed on trolleys with a detailed manifest.Audit & Issue Resolution: Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and proactively resolve or escalate any issues that arise, ensuring swift and effective solutions.Shortage Reporting: Accurately complete and report any shortages, contributing to the smooth operation of the supply chain.Maintain a Clean & Safe Environment: Uphold housekeeping duties with diligence and actively follow Health & Safety guidelines to promote a safety-first culture within the warehouse. The Ideal Stores Person Experience with warehouse management systems and stock control systems for example SAP/Sage etc.Previous warehouse experienceStrong numerical literacyIdeally experience with Automotive parts and accessoriesGood communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to do manual handling and regular heavy lifting.Strong data analysis skills to support decision makingEffective problem solver with a logical approachFlexible and able to adapt to changing demands.Shares our commitment to detail and high standards in every task.
