Behind the scenes, our state-of-the-art equipment includes the largest compression moulding presses in the UK, robotic cells, 5-axis CNC machines, conveyorized paint lines and advanced assembly fixtures.As Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be given primary responsibility for the management of all electrical systems, preventative and reactive as well as playing a key role in exciting new projects.Duties:Managing mechanical, electrical repairs and breakdowns whilst avoiding downtime to ensure manufacturing efficiency is maintained.Working on single and 3 phase electrical systems, invertors, drives, relays, PLCs, motors, robotsInterpreting electrical drawings to aid fault finding.Proactive planning and reactive maintenance across an automated plantProject work to improve machine availability and reduce downtime.Identifying problems on machinery / equipment and carrying out effective repairsEnsuring a safe and clean working environment is maintained.Liaising with external service engineers and contractors as requiredRequirements:You must be a trained Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience in industry.Experience of Fabrication.Experience working with hydraulics and pneumaticsGood diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Experience working with PLCs is highly desirablePrevious proven electrical experienceExcellent time keeping record.Able to work towards set targetsYou will have the opportunity to:Help create and improve designs and manufacturing documents.Develop new skills.Take on safety related dutiesBuild knowledge of Controls and Instrumentation.Contribute ideas and implement innovative methods to improve the maintenance of our advanced manufacturing equipment.What you will get in return:Competitive salary for working on three shift-based patterns.Week 1 & hrs Mon Thurs and Fri 0530 1200 hrs.
