Nurse AssessorLocation: NewryHours: 37.5hrs per week (9AM-5PM, flexible start time)Salary: Full time - £39,500 with 10% Monthly performance bonus, £43,450.Are you a Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist looking for a fulfilling and modern career path within the healthcare sector?About the Role:As a Functional Assessor Nurse, you will play a crucial role in helping claimants navigate the claim process by conducting a unique work blend of engaging consultations. Your Nursing expertise will assist in producing comprehensive health and well-being reports, ensuring claimants receive the support they deserve,Key Responsibilities:Conducting initial reviews, paper-based, face-to-face, video or telephone assessments to evaluate how a claimants health condition or disability affects their day-to-day life.Creating one comprehensive 3,000-4,000-word report of the evidence gathered for each claimant, up to a maximum of 3 per day.Ensuring enough detail, evidence and justification are given to support the DWP in making decisions.Benefits:10% Bonus of base salary once approval is achieved.25 days holiday - with the opportunity to buy and sell extra leaveAnnual professional registration fee reimbursed and supported revalidationCompany matched pension, life assurance, 15 weeks fully paid maternity, adoption and shared parental leave, paternity pay of two weeks and plenty moreYoull get the chance to follow your chosen career path anywhere.
