Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Bias) Location: Exeter area (EX2) Salary: £40,000 per annum Shift Pattern: Rotating Days (06:00-14:00 / 10:00-18:00) We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in the Exeter area. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with either an electrical or mechanical bias to work in a stable, day-shift role. The Role: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment Fault finding and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime Support continuous improvement and reliability projects Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures The Ideal Candidate: Apprenticeship trained or equivalent in Engineering Electrical or Mechanical bias (either considered) Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Comfortable working rotating day shifts What's on Offer: Competitive salary of £40,000 Rotating day shifts only - no nights Secure, long-term opportunity at a well-run site Supportive engineering team and structured maintenance environment If you're a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable days-based role in the Exeter area, this could be a great next step.
