Real ownership of the reporting and forecasting engine, including the chance to design and build a data warehouse that actually works for the business, not just finance. This is a FP&A Manager role where you are not inheriting a finished model and pressing refresh. You are shaping how data flows, how performance is measured and how leadership makes decisions. If you enjoy building foundations rather than maintaining spreadsheets, this will land well. Day to day, as FP&A Manager, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders to translate commercial questions into meaningful analysis. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning, while designing a scalable data warehouse that pulls together financial and operational data from multiple sources. You will improve data quality, automate reporting and create dashboards that people actually use. This FP&A Manager position sits at the centre of decision-making, not on the sidelines. You do not need to have done everything before, but you do need to be comfortable getting stuck into data architecture. Experience building or significantly improving a data warehouse is essential, whether through SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar tools. A solid FP&A background is a given, with the ability to explain numbers in plain English to non-finance colleagues. You could be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
