Job DescriptionThe Opportunity If you are looking to kick start a career that is rewarding, where you can really make a difference, then come join our Data Analyst Apprenticeship Programme. You will work on one of the most exciting and significant sustainable energy projects that our country has ever seen, being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.   What you will be doing We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Data Analyst and help unlock the value of our data. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in data analytics, working alongside our data experts, gaining hands-on experience and a nationally recognised qualification. Key responsibilities: Data Requirements: Collaborate with different departments to translate business needs into data requirements. Data Preparation: Collect, clean and connect data from various sources to support business decisions. Data Exploration: Use appropriate data analytics and statistical techniques to discover trends, patterns and meaningful insights to drive decision-making. Data Visualisation: Communicate insights to a range of stakeholders. Including the use of PowerBI & Excel to create accessible and engaging dashboards and reports. Data Quality: Support the business to manage its critical datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems. Your Work Location   Whilst you will be based at our London office, you may also be required to travel to other locations to support other business units and to expand your knowledge and experience of the Nuclear Industry.   Join our 2-year apprenticeship programme and gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards your qualification. As part of the programme it is likely there will be day release for college with some remote learning. Who you are Five GCSEs in the A* to C or 9 to 4 range including English, Maths.Problem Solving: Attention to detail but with the ability to see the big picture. Passionate about identifying data problems and developing solutions to fix them Data Interest: A keen interest in data with an eagerness to learn, grow and adapt to the latest data tools and technology Technology Skills: Strong IT skills and the ability to pick up new tools and technology (e.g. Excel/PowerBI). Logical thinker (interest in coding e.g. SQL/Python is a plus) Communication: Passionate about data, with the ability to engage stakeholders and make data simple. Teamwork: A team player, excited to work alongside our business and data experts to build end to end data solutions.
