Special Projects Surveyor – Major WorksWe are seeking an experienced Special Projects Surveyor to lead on major remedial and latent defect projects, with a strong emphasis on cladding and fire-safety programmes. This is a key role within a specialist property team, delivering high-quality, compliant and customer-focused outcomes across a varied portfolio.About the RoleIn this position, you will take ownership of a range of remediation projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards. Working closely with internal teams, consultants, residents and wider stakeholders, you will act as the technical lead on complex building safety and defect issues.The role requires occasional evening attendance for resident and stakeholder meetings.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multiple remedial and latent defect projects from inception to completionProvide technical expertise on building safety, cladding, fire compliance and regulatory requirementsOversee procurement, contract administration and performance management of contractors and consultantsPlan, coordinate and monitor project programmes, risks, budgets and quality standardsBuild strong relationships with residents, stakeholders and internal partners, providing updates and addressing concernsEnsure health & safety, statutory compliance and robust documentation throughout project deliveryPrepare reports, contribute to service improvement initiatives and support wider property team objectivesAbout YouYou will bring:Strong Building Surveying and Contract Administration experienceProven track record managing major remedial, cladding or fire-safety related projectsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on quality, value for money and customer experienceGood working knowledge of building regulations, compliance standards and health & safety legislationConfidence delivering updates to residents and leading meetings, including occasional out-of-hours
