Brook Street Recruitment are currently working on behalf of our Belfast client ( Westbank Road Area ) who seeking a Part-Time Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join their team.This is a flexible role offering 21 hours per week, worked either across five mornings or three full days, depending on the successful candidate's availability. The role will support the day-to-day finance function and will report directly to the Senior Accountant based in the Dublin office, working closely with the senior accountant.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral bookkeeping and accounts administrationProcessing invoices, expenses, and paymentsMaintaining accurate financial records and reconciliationsAssisting with accounts payable and receivableSupporting month-end and basic reporting tasksLiaising with the Senior Accountant and responding to finance queriesEnsuring compliance with internal processes and procedures Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience in an accounts or bookkeeping roleStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsGood working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to work independently while collaborating with a remote teamExcellent communication skills What's on OfferFlexible working hours to suit work-life balancePart-time role with autonomy and supportOpportunity to work closely with a senior finance professionalStable and supportive working environmentSalary will depend on experience - If you are an experienced accounts or bookkeeping professional looking for a flexible part-time opportunity, we would be delighted to hear from you.
