Warehouse Manager Location: Derby Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm) Contract: Permanent, Full‑Time About the Role Blue Arrow is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading sports company based in Derby. Due to continued growth and increased demand, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their expanding operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, proactive, and hands‑on manager who is looking to take ownership of a busy warehouse environment and support the ongoing development of a growing team. Key Responsibilities As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and performance of the warehouse, including: Leading and supporting a team of around 6 warehouse operatives Overseeing and working closely with the Dispatch Manager Ensuring efficient workflow across goods‑in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch Maintaining high standards of accuracy, organisation, and housekeeping Managing stock levels and ensuring correct rotation and storage Upholding health & safety standards and ensuring compliance across the warehouse Supporting continuous improvement as the warehouse continues to grow Monitoring KPIs and reporting performance to senior management About You To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager (essential) Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team Experience working in a fast‑paced or growing warehouse environment Excellent communication and organisational skills A hands‑on management style with the ability to lead by example Confidence in improving processes and managing change What's on Offer Competitive salary between £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Permanent, stable position within a growing business Opportunity to shape and influence a developing warehouse operation Supportive team culture and long‑term career potential If you are interested in the above role and feel you can meet the above requirements - we would love to hear from you.
