Fire & Security Role: Are you a Resident Fire Alarm Engineer working with fire alarm, AOV and suppression systems?Paying up to: £45kWhat can you expect as an employee:Salary between £35,000 – £45,00040 hour working weekVehicle provided (personal use permitted)Laptop, Samsung tablet and smartphone providedDedicated on-site office area with stores25 days per year annual leaveFull training provided where requiredThe ideal candidate would have:Good working knowledge of Advanced Electronics and Kentec fire alarm control panelsSome commissioning experienceCompetence fault-finding on Kentec and Advanced Electronics systemsExperience servicing gas suppression systems (F-Gas trained)Experience servicing AOV systemsExperience programming panel cause and effectExcellent communication skillsExperience working closely with customers at all levelsIT literacyAbility to supervise subcontractors on siteIdeally Level 3 trained (FIA or Zzeus)Ideally based relatively local to siteQualifications:Level 3 fire alarm qualification (FIA or Zzeus) – desirableF-Gas training – required for gas suppression servicingAbout the role:Static resident fire alarm engineer role, based 5 days per week on siteBased at Brunel University Campus in Uxbridge, MiddlesexDeliver PPM, reactive works and small works installationsWork on systems including Advanced Electronics, Kentec and legacy Kidde Vega panelsSystems reporting via Tyrrell Reporting System using the university IT networkComplete compliance data reporting and attend monthly review meetingsLiaise closely with the client and security teamsCarry out PPM and remedial works on fire alarm, AOV and fire suppression systemsSupervise subcontractor and additional labour on siteEnsure all Health & Safety commitments are metCreate service schedules and manage RAMS, permits and reportingDon’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to join the team and make a difference in the fire and security industry.
