Job SpecificationPosition: Dispensary Assistant (Full Time / Permanent)Duties Include:Assist in preparation of prescriptions and delivery of professional servicesAssist Pharmacist in providing an efficient, accurate and safe dispensing service in store, ensuring patient confidentialityAssist Pharmacist with other dispensary related tasks e.g. orders, date checks, receiving prescriptions etc.Assist on the medicines counter when requiredProviding knowledge / up to date advice on our product rangesDelivery and collection of prescriptions when requiredStock maintenanceProvide exceptional customer serviceMaintain professional standards of dress and groomingGeneral HousekeepingRetail and other duties as requiredEssential Requirements:Have an interest in Pharmacy and DispensingBe hard working and enthusiasticDemonstrate exceptional customer serviceDemonstrate exceptional communication skillsHave the ability to work as part of a teamDemonstrate attention to detail and accuracyPrevious experience of using computer systemsFlexible to work in local Gordons Chemist branchesEligibility to work in UKDesirable Requirements:Previous relevant dispensary experienceGood understanding of professional servicesPrevious relevant experience in a similar environmentPrevious experience working and advising on the OTC CounterNPA Interact qualification orequivalent recognisedqualification or be willing to complete this qualificationNPA Dispensary Assistants qualification orequivalent recognisedqualification or be willing to complete this qualification.Full UK driving licence/access to carWe reserve the right to amend criteria in order to facilitate shortlisting.Location:Gordons Chemists, 26 Greencastle Street, Kilkeel BT34 4BHDuration:This position is Full Time and Permanent, working 5 days per week Monday to Saturday as per shop rota.
