Job SpecificationPosition: Sales Assistant (Full Time / Permanent)Duties Include:Stock maintenanceMerchandising productsAwareness of customer needs and provide exceptional customer serviceAccuracy in the operation of till transactions and cash handlingProviding Knowledge/ up to date advice on our product ranges, promotions and special offersMaximise sales opportunitiesAssist in the dispensary when requiredCollection of prescriptions from local and surrounding surgeriesDelivery and collection of prescriptions to customersDelivery and collection of prescriptions between branches if requiredMaintain professional standards of dress and groomingGeneral HousekeepingOther duties as requiredEssential Requirements:Demonstrate exceptional customer service skillsGood numeracy and accuracy skillsGood attendance and punctualityHave the ability to work as part of a teamFlexibility to work as and when requiredFlexibility to work in local Gordons Chemists branchesEligibility to work in UKDesirable Requirements:6 Months experience in a similar retail environment demonstrating selling skills and/or6 Months experience demonstrating exceptional customer facing skillsPrevious health and beauty / Pharmacy retail experiencePrevious fragrance/ skincare retail experienceFull, UK driving license and have own vehicle.We reserve the right to amend criteria in order to facilitate shortlisting.Location:Gordons Chemists, The Square, Warrenpoint BT34 3LYDuration:This position is Full Time and Permanent, working 40 hours over 5 days per week as per shop rota.
