Wet Room Installer (Public Sector)VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for a Wet Room Installer for 3 months initially with the possibility of extension. You will predominantly be based in their Portadown site.ResponsibilitiesTo carry all work for wet room installation to specification in Organisation stock / buildings including and not limited to:Removing existing bathroom suite, wall tiles and flooring.Plastering walls as required.Altering pipework and install level access tray and drainage.Levelling and laying new non-slip flooring including upstands and welds.Wall panelling or tiling.Installation of shower, wash hand basin and toilet.Fitting of shower screens and doors.Carrying out preparatory work for fan installation.Carrying out any alterations required to facilitate the wet room installation.Decorating the room on completion.RequirementsEssential CriteriaApplicants must provide evidence, by the closing date for application, that they meet the following essential criteria:2 years relevant experience in a similar role, providing a range of general house maintenance services (Internal and External).Experience in plumbing/tiling/wetroom installation (does not have to have completed a time served apprenticeship)A full current driving licence which includes B1 to enable the post holder to carry out the required duties of this postDesirable Criteria A full current driving licence which includes C1 category or willing to achieve within 1 year.Have current plant cards in relation to Mini Excavator, Dumper.Completed a time served apprenticeship in joinery or plumbing.Remuneration£27,694 - £32,597 plus Van & Fuel Card.For further information on this vacancy, or any other Public Sector job in Portadown or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Chris Haddock in the strictest confidence.
