Estimator – Construction / Home Build Location: Sandwich or Kings Hill, Kent (Office-based with hybrid options)Salary: £33,000 – £38,000Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am or 8:30am–4:30pm (Friday finish at 4pm)Contract: Full-time, PermanentStart Date:Immediate start available About the Role REED is delighted to be recruiting for a skilled and motivated Estimator to join a respected and growing organisation within the construction sector. This role is ideal for someone with solid estimating experience in housebuilding/home build (minimum 2–3 years) who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with project and contracts teams, reviewing enquiries, completing detailed take-offs, and preparing accurate estimates for client submission. This position offers a varied workload, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities to contribute to process improvements. Key Requirements Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in home build / residential constructionStrong estimating capability with proven construction knowledgeExcellent communication and negotiation skillsExperience managing sales handoversProficiency in Excel, MS Project, and other project management toolsHighly organised with exceptional attention to detailAble to work collaboratively across multiple teams Day-to-Day Responsibilities Preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting tender submissionsReviewing enquiries and producing detailed material take-offsLiaising between project and contracts teams to ensure smooth sales handoversHighlighting inefficiencies and contributing to continuous improvementEnsuring estimates are accurate, timely, and ready for client submission Why Apply?
