This is an exciting chance to step into a key role within a high‑performing finance function.Your new roleAs the Senior Accountant, you will take responsibility for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities. Your role will include preparing statutory financial statements, completing month‑end and year‑end processes, managing reconciliations, and ensuring full compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls.You’ll play a key part in financial analysis, variance reporting, and supporting senior finance leaders with budgeting and forecasting. You will also oversee cash flow management, monitor working capital, and provide support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure efficient daily operations.The role includes managing payroll processes, coordinating audit requirements, completing tax submissions such as VAT and corporation tax, and driving continuous improvement across accounting systems and processes. You will also support ad‑hoc finance projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and due diligence exercises.What you'll need to succeedA fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)A minimum of 2 years’ post‑qualification experience in a financial accounting or management accounting roleStrong experience in month‑end, year‑end, and financial reportingExcellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detailStrong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholdersAdvanced IT capability, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPointExperience using SAP (desirable but not essential)Proven people management or team‑leading experienceA proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider teamA commitment to continuous improvement and process optimisationWhat you'll get in returnYou will benefit from a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, along with flexible working arrangements.
