Our client, a boutique friendly law firm based near Farringdon has a vacancy for an experience billing and revenue controller. You will be reporting into the Operations Director and Head Cashier. Main Duties Credit Control Function:o Manage the firm’s internal credit control workflows using the case management system(Visual Files).o Monitor, chase, and reduce outstanding invoices through proactive communication.o Issue formal correspondence, including Letters Before Action, to clients where required.o Conduct follow-up calls with clients regarding overdue invoices.o Work closely with solicitors and Partners to advance debt recovery on their matters.o Review current credit control practices and recommend process improvements.o Place clients on stop where necessary. Billing:o Work with fee earners to manage all billing across the firm.o Draft and raise bills using the case management system.o Review matter ledgers to ensure accurate billing.o Process disbursement billing and apply correct VAT treatment.o Post client-to-office account payments.o Finalise and post bills onto the accounts system.• Matter management:o Action client-to-office transfers.o Identify matters requiring billing, including those with high WIP or significantdisbursements.o Place matters on stop when necessary.o Collaborate with solicitors to manage the financial health of their mattersCovering the cashier for holidays/absences.Other ad-hoc duties where required.The client are looking for previous law firm experience in a similar role, proficiency in a case management software system, competent IT Skills including Microsoft applications.You will also need to have an excellent eye for detail and be enthusiastic team player.
