EYFS Teaching Assistant Location: Lewisham Start Date: February start Pay: £97 - £115 per day Hours: Monday-Friday, Full-TimeContract: Long-Term Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lewisham. This is a fantastic full-time, long-term opportunity for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey. The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing high-quality classroom support, 1:1 assistance, and small-group work. This role also includes some PPA cover when the class teacher is out of the classroom, making it ideal for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is confident and proactive. EYFS Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities: Support teaching and learning across the EYFS as an EYFS Teaching AssistantProvide 1:1 and small-group support to pupilsAssist with planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging EYFS activitiesCover the class during PPA time when required as an EYFS Teaching AssistantSupport children's personal, social, and emotional developmentPromote positive behaviour and a nurturing learning environmentHelp assess progress and contribute to observations and recordsWork closely with teachers, support staff, and parentsMaintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating EYFS settingFollow safeguarding policies and procedures as a trusted EYFS Teaching Assistant EYFS Teaching Assistant - Requirements: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (extremely desirable)Proven experience working as an EYFS Teaching AssistantConfidence supporting pupils across Nursery and ReceptionExperience covering classes during PPA time is highly desirableStrong understanding of the EYFS frameworkPatient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approachExcellent communication and teamwork skillsEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Join This School as an EYFS Teaching Assistant?
