Role Summary As an HLTA, you'll work in partnership with class teachers and senior leaders to: Lead whole-class learning during PPA, teacher absence, or leadership release timeDeliver targeted small-group interventions and individual supportMaintain continuity of teaching, preparing and adapting lessons and learning materialsContribute to pupil self-esteem, independence, inclusion, and behaviour management ?? Key Responsibilities Plan, teach, and evaluate whole-class or small-group sessionsSupport with assessing, monitoring, and recording pupil progressWork with pupils with SEND; deliver IEP, EHCP and targeted interventionsPromote positive learning environments and pupil independenceProvide feedback to class teachers and adapt future learning materialsContribute to safeguarding, liaising across staff teams and parents �? We’re Looking For Someone Who: Is nurturing, motivated, with a great sense of humourHas (or is working toward) HLTA status or appropriate Level 4 qualification (not essential for the right candidate)Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics (minimum Grade C)Can lead lessons, cover classes, and deliver focused interventionsIs ambitious for pupil progress, fostering a love of learning and success �?
