SEN Teaching Assistant Start Date: ASAP - July 2026 Location: Brockley, Lewisham - South East London Contract Type: Full-time, long term Salary: £98 per day, increasing after 12 weeks (PAYE) Agency: SANZA Teaching Agency Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in young children's lives? We are currently seeking a Level 3SEN Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding Nursery School in the vibrant community of Brockley. The nursery is an integral part of the school's success, and as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be joining a team dedicated to providing high-quality care and education. Key Responsibilities: Working one to one with a dedicated child who would benefit from the use of Makaton Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.Monitor and assess children's progress and development.Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education.Build strong relationships with children and their families. Ideal Qualifications/Attributes: Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse/SEN TA in a nursery or early years setting.Experience or knowledge of Makaton.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A genuine passion for working with young children and promoting their well-being and development.
