This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Geography specialist to join a supportive and forward-thinking Humanities department. The Role - Geography Teacher As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity about the world and develop students' geographical knowledge and skills. Key responsibilities include: Teaching Geography across the secondary age range (KS3 & KS4) Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the curriculum Assessing, tracking and monitoring student progress effectively Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment Working collaboratively within the Humanities department and wider school team Start date: February End date: April Contract: Full-time Salary: London MPS Qualifications & Person Specification The successful Geography Teacher will: Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualificationHave experience teaching Geography at secondary levelDemonstrate strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for GeographyBe committed to high standards of teaching, learning and behaviourHave excellent classroom management and communication skillsBe adaptable, organised and able to contribute positively to school life This client is a co-educational secondary academy with a strong reputation for academic achievement and inclusive values.
