The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Account Executive to join the travel team. This is a fast-paced role supporting the team on global client accounts. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills and an existing network of media contacts. The Skills Required The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate the following:Experience working in communicationsExperience in performing administrative tasksAn understanding of how to build relationships with the mediaAn existing network of strong media contactsExcellent time management skillsExcellent PR writing skills (pitches, email communications, and press releases)Excellent organisation and communication skills A passion for all things travel ResponsibilitiesPublic RelationsBuild and maintain strong press and influencer relationships through regular communication and meetingsResearch and stay informed on target media, influencers and potential client opportunitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date media and influencer lists and databasesMeet monthly KPIs for meetings with journalists, influencers, brands and industry contactsTake ownership of and successfully deliver small projects as directed by your managerProactively research forthcoming media features through regular contact with pressDevelop, monitor and update awards lists, sharing deadlines and announcements with the teamRegularly read relevant publications to identify media slots and opportunitiesClient RelationsAct as a client-facing contact and build strong working relationshipsMeet with clients as requiredSupport the Account Manager by preparing meeting materials, agendas and reportsProduce high-quality monthly reports, ready for review with minimal amendmentsEnsure each client receives sufficient attention to meet agreed objectives and KPIsSecure consistent monthly coverage for each client in line with individual KPIsFact-check, proofread and distribute press and social coverage to clients in a timely mannerWrite clear, accurate and well-presented press releases and pitches for manager sign-offManagement & AdministrationImplement company practices and maintain effective systemsCarry out administrative duties including phones, diaries, research, logistics and filingOrganise product and sample send-outs where requiredManage workload effectively to meet team and client deadlinesCommunicate clearly and transparently with the team and attend weekly meetingsOversee the day-to-day activity of junior team members, interns or assistantsProduce meeting minutes and action lists within 24 hours of client meetingsSupport AEs and AAs during absences, including administrative and reporting tasksContribute research and insight to new business presentations, partnership decks and client strategiesBenefits24 days holiday plus UK bank holidays, plus Christmas office shutdown and one additional day's holiday entitlement per year served, capped at five days10% commission on any fees introduced to the companyDiscretionary bonus scheme dependent on meeting annual team targetsAuto-enrollment in the company's pension schemeTeam events including a summer and Christmas social Monthly team drinks and lunchesAccess to an EAP which offers free counselling sessions Wifi allowance
