HSE Manager - Manufacturing & AssemblyBanbridge / Mid-Ulster area (with travel to local manufacturing sites) Full-time | Permanent Competitive salary, depending on experienceAn established and fast-growing organisation within the energy efficiency and building services sector is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to support its manufacturing and assembly operations.This is a senior, hands-on role offering the opportunity to shape and drive Health, Safety & Environmental standards across modern manufacturing and off-site assembly facilities supporting large-scale data centre and decarbonisation projects across Europe.The Role Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety, the HSE Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving robust HSE systems across manufacturing and assembly environments. You will work closely with internal teams, project delivery functions and client stakeholders to ensure HSE requirements are embedded throughout fabrication, assembly and installation activities, while fostering a strong, positive safety culture.Key elements of the role include:Leading HSE strategy across manufacturing and assembly facilitiesEnsuring compliance with legal, regulatory and client-specific HSE requirementsDriving behavioural safety and continuous improvement initiativesActing as the primary HSE point of contact for manufacturing sitesSupporting safe fabrication and assembly of prefabricated mechanical and electrical solutionsCollaborating with project teams through all stages of deliveryKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures and management systemsMonitor compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and relevant HSE legislationLead incident investigations, audits, inspections and corrective actionsBuild, lead and develop a team of Health & Safety professionalsDesign and deliver training and competency development programmesEmbed HSE considerations into planning and operational decision-makingPromote environmental best practice across manufacturing operationsProvide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership and project teamsThe Person You will ideally have:5+ years' experience in an HSE Manager or senior HSE roleStrong background in manufacturing, assembly, M&E or building services environmentsProven experience developing and improving HSE management systemsSolid knowledge of UK & international HSE legislation and standardsNEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) and environmental management experienceExperience leading and developing HSE teamsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsDesirable:Experience with sustainability, waste reduction or carbon initiativesFamiliarity with digital HSE systems and reporting toolsWhy Apply?Senior, influential role within a growing manufacturing environmentOpportunity to shape HSE culture and strategyLong-term stability and career progressionExposure to major infrastructure and energy projectsClick apply, or for a confidential discussion, please contact Karl Yellop at VANRATH on Skills:HEALTH SAFETY ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER SENIOR RISK REPORT
