We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our team based in Graham HQ, Hillsborough. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company. Working Pattern: 20 Hours Per WeekMonday to Thursday8am-1pmRewards: 22 days annual leaveCompany Pension Scheme Employee Assistance Program to support your health & wellbeing Financial Education/Financial wellbeing advisory service Company Events On Site ParkingFree Staff LunchThe Role:Assist in the preparation, service and sales of all food and beverages for the unit Preparation of service counterProvide the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility Work as part of the team to ensure service is delivered on time and a to a consistently high standard Carry out all cleaning duties as per instruction from line manager or per unit cleaning rota Carry out cooking dutiesEnsure kitchen and service areas are always clean and tidy and assist with waste removal. Clear and wash dishes in the dining areaDeliver hospitality orders to meeting roomsClear rooms of any trays, flasks and crockeryBe responsible for cash handling duties under your control Keep up to date with current promotions and new products Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards Comply with all HACCP regulationsFollow procedures as directed on the correct handling and use of all cleaning materials. Complete any administration as requested which may include recording of food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing up tills and recording daily sales Assist with effective management of stock controlThe Person:Demonstrable passion for providing good customer service Excellent communication skills Flexibility and adaptability Good navigation and time management Desirable Criteria:Workable knowledge of HACCP regulations Basic food hygiene certificate Full Clean driving licenceBasic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.The Mount Charles Group is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
