VANRATH are recruiting a Bid Writer to work for a leading Main Contractor, based in Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Innovation, quality, integrity and professionalism are the cornerstones of the business which is renowned for its personal, hands on style.The Role: Develop clear planning and strategies to win bidsReview PQQ and tender requirements and plan the overall submission approachCarry out research to support high-quality, well-informed bid submissionsLead assigned bids, including organising kick-off meetings, planning tasks, and coordinating written responsesProduce, edit, and review bespoke tender responses that are clear, accurate, engaging, and aligned with client needsWork with internal teams and external consultants to develop high-quality technical and methodology contentPrepare materials for client presentations and attend interviews as requiredMaintain and update bid information within bid software and company systemsSupport continuous improvement by monitoring feedback and implementing updates to processes and documentsCarry out any other reasonable duties to support the wider work-winning teamVisit project sites and work with site teams to gather information to aid in the preparation of case studiesThe Ideal Person:Proven track record of winning bids within the construction industryHighly motivated, proactive and committed to producing strong, competitive bidsConfident communicator with clear, effective written and verbal skillsStrong organisation skills able to manage workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesStrong administration and writing experience in a technical fieldSkilled with IT and presentation tools, creating engaging and professional bid contentCareful and precise, with excellent attention to detail and a focus on producing accurate, high-quality submissionsGood understanding of construction / civil engineeringTeam and action orientedAble to influence assertively to get resultsFor further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Robert Apps for a confidential discussionSkills:Bid Writer Bid Manager Bid Coordinator Submissions Writer PQQBenefits:DOE + excellent benefits package
