The company operates across several specialist logistics divisions supporting defence, government, and international partners, including: Global removals and relocation servicesHeavy-lift transportation of military equipmentSpecial projects for defence and NATO operationsA dedicated business development function aimed at expanding defence transport and logistics offerings With multiple operational sites in the UK and a growing commercial footprint, the business plays a central role in delivering critical logistics capability across nationally important contracts. The Role This is a high-impact position focused on: Business Development & Growth Identifying, pursuing, and securing new opportunities in defence logisticsDeveloping strategic plans to expand presence and capability in the marketBuilding long-term relationships with stakeholders across defence, primes, integrators, and specialist logistics providers Client Engagement Representing the organisation at industry events and key forumsEngaging confidently with senior decision-makers across complex, regulated environmentsWorking with internal teams to develop tailored commercial solutions Market Insight & Industry Intelligence Understanding the competitive landscape and emerging market trendsProviding insight that supports effective pricing, positioning, and strategyIdentifying opportunities across UK and European defence logistics markets Internal Collaboration Aligning business development activity with operational capabilitiesSupporting bids, proposals, and customer-specific solutions About You – Candidate Profile Essential Strong background in logistics, supply chain, or transportProven experience in business development, strategic sales, or account growthAbility to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders within technical or regulated sectorsCommercially astute with the ability to secure long-term partnerships Desirable Existing network within MOD, primes, integrators, or defence logistics providersUnderstanding of defence logistics operations such as distribution, storage, heavy-lift or special project deliveryExperience in competitive markets where differentiation matters Salary & Package £50,000 base salaryCommission structure + company carUp to £60,000 available for exceptional candidatesCommission scheme currently under review for increased competitiveness Interested in learning more?
