The BenefitsThe successful Accounts Technician / Part-Qualified Accountant can expect to receive the following:28 days' holiday including 10 closure days, with the potential to increase based on length of serviceAuto-enrolment pension schemeAnnual salary review10% bonus on the first-year fee for each new client successfully on boardedAccess to a company health policy (taxable benefit, depending on premium level)37.5-hour working week with an early Friday finish once hours are completed The RoleYou will have a wide range of duties, such as;Prepare year-end accounts for a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses, with a focus on medical sector clientsLiaise directly with clients to gather information, clarify queries, and build strong working relationshipsWork closely with a manager to ensure timely and accurate delivery of accountsAssist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and review of client records to ensure completeness and accuracyHandle accounts for newly on boarded clients following a recent acquisition, supporting smooth transitions and data integrationEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal proceduresSupport ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requiredContribute to a collaborative and client-focused team environment The PersonThe ideal candidate will be:Strong accounts preparation experience is essentialPart-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE) candidates will be consideredIndustry background will be considered if prior experience has been in PracticeSupport available for candidates interested in pursuing further professional qualifications (e.g. ACA/ACCA)Option for candidates to remain at Accounts Technician level and opportunity to progress.
