UK property and construction consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its established Building Surveying team in Birmingham. This Building Surveyor opportunity offers exposure to professional and project-based building surveying work across multiple sectors. The Building Surveyor will work as part of a principal-led business, delivering building surveying services to investors, developers, occupiers and public sector clients. This role suits a Building Surveyor looking to progress their career within a collaborative and commercially focused environment. The Company?The successful Building Surveyor will be joining a privately owned consultancy operating across the UK real estate market. The business works across building surveying, project management, quantity surveying and engineering disciplines, allowing the Building Surveyor to collaborate across service lines. The Birmingham office delivers professional and project instructions across a varied client base, with clear routes for progression and business development. The RoleAs the Building Surveyor, you will manage instructions from inception through to completion, working closely with clients and internal teams. The role will include:* Contract administration and project management duties* Project monitoring and employer's agent services* Building technical due diligence surveys* Dilapidations advice* Planned maintenance schedules* Managing professional and project instructions across commercial, industrial and public sector assets The Building Surveyor?You will be a motivated and commercially aware Building Surveyor with experience delivering both professional and project-based surveying services.
