A prestigious, market-leading City law firm is seeking an exceptional Senior Associate to join its internationally renowned International Arbitration team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work within a respected arbitration practice, acting on complex, high-value disputes for global clients. Client Details The firm's International Arbitration group acts both as counsel and arbitrators across disputes administered by all major arbitral institutions. The team has extensive experience in investor-state and commercial arbitration, including matters involving: ICSID investor-state disputesLCIA, ICC, SCC, SIAC, HKIAC, and other major institutionsUNCITRAL ad hoc arbitrations Description Lead and manage substantial international arbitration matters across multiple jurisdictionsWork closely with partners recognised as authorities in the fieldProvide strategic advice on complex procedural and substantive issuesSupervise and develop junior team membersEngage directly with clients, experts, and foreign counselContribute to business development, thought leadership, and the growth of the practice Profile 5-7+ years' post-qualification experience in international arbitration from a leading law firmStrong familiarity with institutional arbitration rules (e.g., LCIA, ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL)Experience in investor-state and/or complex commercial disputesExcellent written advocacy skills and legal analysis capabilitiesThe ability to manage multi-jurisdictional matters with minimal supervisionA collaborative approach and an interest in mentoring junior colleaguesForeign language skills and cross-border experience would be advantageous but are not essential.
