As a supply teacher, you can choose the days you work each week using our booking system, Sirenum. This user-friendly system allows you to update your availability (when YOU decide) and has proven HIGHLY beneficial for those with prior childcare arrangements in place, those generally looking to work part time and those who are set to retire, but still want general income. For the vast majority of school bookings, planning and resources will already be prepared. On this note, you will still be expected to bring the lessons of the day alive and keep our future generation highly informed/engaged. The role will include: responsibility for teaching and learningDelivering pre-planned lessons (you can have your evenings back!)Using your own subject knowledge and teaching skills to bring set work to lifeManaging the behaviour within the classroomDeveloping independent study skills and peer learningPastoral and learning supportManaging handover back to the absent teacher Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the update serviceA degree qualification in teaching (PGCE) along with a QTSStrong knowledge of the Primary curriculumRelevant teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)You must have eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this post)Tailoring your approach to the individual needs of children where necessary.
