Workplace/Facilities Manager - (Prestigious Law Firm) The firm This long-established law firm has been advising businesses and individuals for several years, supporting clients across a broad range of UK and international sectors. About the role: As Workplace Services Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of workplace services across the firm (excluding Front of House). You'll play a key strategic and operational role in ensuring the workplace runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while driving continuous improvement. You will report into the Head of Front of House & Workplace Services and work closely with IT, Property and Facilities leadership. Key Responsibilities Include: Delivering the strategic vision for workplace services Ensuring exceptional service for internal stakeholders Managing workplace functions: mailroom, reprographics, records, floor support Overseeing property services coordination and supplier relationships Managing offsite transcription/document production contracts Leading on health & safety compliance and emergency procedures Supporting office moves, refurbishments, and change projects Leading, developing, and motivating a multi-skilled team Supporting budgets, benchmarking, and contract negotiations Required skills: Proven experience in workplace, facilities, or operational managementBackground in legal environmentStrong leadership skills and experience managing both in-house teams & vendorsStrong contract and supplier management expertiseExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsRobust understanding of health & safety (IOSH/NEBOSH required)Highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused Desirable: Experience with workplace technology toolsExposure to office moves or workplace transformation projectsProfessional qualifications (e.g., IWFM) Reward: This is an opportunity to have a significant impact on the operational success of a highly respected firm, working as part of a supportive leadership team with a clear strategy for innovation and growth.
