Quality Manager / Chingford / Up to £50,000Overview:Our client in the manufacturing industry are currently seeking a Quality Manager to join their team to oversee and improve quality across the businesses including processes, product quality and health and safety. This is an excellent opportunity to excel your quality career.Role & Responsibilities:Compile and present regular QHSE performance reports to the senior leadership teamRecommend improvements to processes, equipment, and machinery, engaging both senior leadersPlan and conduct internal and supplier auditsManage calibration records in partnership with machine operatorsSupport wider risk management and operational planning activities across the business.Inspect and validate components against engineering drawings and customer specificationsEstablish and manage a structured goods-in inspection programme, including the development of KPIs to monitor and improve supplier performance.Lead structured problem-solving activities using root cause analysis to reduce defects, waste, and manufacturing losses, while improving customer satisfaction.Chair the internal Health & Safety CommitteeCarry out risk assessments, workplace inspections, and investigations into accidents and near-misses Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulationsEssential Skills & Experience:3+ years in a similar position in a manufacturing environmentConfidence speaking with senior leaders and other staff membersGreat knowledge of Health & Safety standardsTeam player Package:Up to £50,000 basic salary 26 days annual leave + Bank holidays Pension Scheme Hybrid workingGreat team environment Social events Quality Manager / Chingford / Up to £50,000
